Europe produces world-class cancer research, yet too often patients wait too long to benefit from scientific progress. Momentum 2026 is a new European high-level conference designed to help close that gap.

Convened by the Swedish Cancer Society together with partners including UICC, IARC, Cancer Patients Europe and EACS, Momentum will bring together leaders from research, healthcare, policy, industry and patient advocacy in Stockholm on 14–16 October 2026.

Designed as a working conference rather than a traditional summit, Momentum will provide a platform for cross-sector collaboration focused on accelerating the implementation of cancer research, strengthening Europe’s life sciences ecosystem and improving outcomes for patients.
