Cancer is a disease with many faces, and the current treatment options including first-generation Immuno-Oncology (IO) drugs are still not effective in all patients.   Researchers at Bayer are working on innovative IO approaches to mobilize a cancer patient’s own immune system. Novel immunotherapies might be able to help even those patients who are either resistant or have become refractory to existing IO therapies.
