EFPIA statement on European Council decision on membership applications from Ukraine and Moldova
EFPIA welcomes the decision by the European Council to grant candidacy status to Ukraine and Moldova. Speaking about the decision, EFPIA Director General, Nathalie Moll said "In what continues to be the most challenging of times for Ukraine and the region more broadly, yesterday's announcement affords some opportunity to look towards a better future. EFPIA stands ready to engage with the Ukrainian and Moldovan governments in aligning national pharmaceutical policy to the EU policy framework in support of their accession to the EU."
