WeWontRest – New programme showcases vital role of the pharmaceutical industry

The European Federation of Pharmaceutical Industries and Associations (EFPIA) has partnered with ITN Productions to launch #WeWontRest, a news and current affairs-style programme reporting on the ground-breaking research taking place across the pharmaceutical industry.


Within the next five years cutting edge developments in medicine are set to transform the lives of patients across the globe who are living with debilitating diseases. Introduced by national newsreader Natasha Kaplinsky, #WeWontRest invites commentary from those at the cutting edge of medical science to discuss the latest breakthroughs that are transforming the lives of patients from those living with Alzheimer’s, rare diseases and major skin conditions and explores advancements in innovative research transforming neuroscience medicine.

In an interview Nathalie Moll, EFPIA Director General, discusses EFPIA and its members commitment to working together to create a healthier Europe for the future and outlines the challenges faced by Brexit and what Europe needs to do to secure its place as an engine room of medication innovation in the future.
